This is the genuine article - real thick, lovely chrome.  It's not easy to Chromium Plate Aluminium, you first have to Nickel coat the parts then plate that with Bright Nickel and only then can you electro statically apply the Chrome. Chromium is a rare metal and is more expensive than 8 ct Gold (bet you didn't know that!). It is rust and oxidant resistant and never tarnishes.

Aluminium does oxidise (normally this is evidenced by white deposits) and that is why we do not supply bare metal CB-26P devices.
